Donations From Abroad and Overseas

We are a registered charity here in kenya sponsered through government ministry iniatives. All donations are tax deductable, and will be accompanied with the proper documents. Every small amount helps more than you can possibly imagine, and unlike some larger charities there are no paid employees, and therefore no administrative costs. Every Dollar, Euro, Pound or shilling goes directly to the children who are struggling everyday. The future of this project depends on the caring of people possibly very far away. You have shown your loving spirit, by visiting our site, all I can ask is that you take the next step, and open your heart by joining us with your gracious donation, or your time as a volunteer here in Kenya. Thank you kindly for your time, may you be blessed always.

Upendo Rescue Centre Is located on the edge of the residential slum bordering The South B district, a suburb of Nairobi. Within 20 minutes by Matatu (bus) from Nairobi City centre, it is an ideal homebase for any volunteer hoping to explore Kenya while making a difference endeavoring to give aid to an organization. The South B district is one of the best secured and most pleasant Areas of Nairobi, and is in stark contrast to the village slum that the school resides on. There are more than a few accomodations in the area that are affordable clean and friendly, i would be happy to give further advice to anyone interested. Please refer to the contact page. This has been my first chance to volunteer abroad and have been incredibly impressed with the potential progress of this group. Travel in Africa is an incredible experience, Volunteer dedication at Upendo rescue is a chance to give something back. Your time is incredibly valuable, and I know around a hundred children that would love to meet you. Please feel welcome to visit us anytime.
